Virginia Tech – ICS 200. Incident Command System for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents.

Course Synopsis

ICS 200 is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System. ICS 200 provides training on and resources for personnel who are likely to assume a supervisory position within the ICS. The target audience includes those persons involved with emergency planning, response, and/or recovery efforts for Virginia Tech.

Primary Audience

The course is open to all Virginia Tech students, faculty, and staff who have already taken ICS 100.

Directions

The Public Safety Building (previously Southgate Center) houses both Emergency Management and the Virginia Tech Police Department. It is located at 330 Sterrett Drive, behind Lane Stadium near Fleet Services. Walk through the main entrance, continue through the double doors straight ahead, and down the hallway. The office will be on your left.
